Hello! We're The Wine Down, a group of wine lovers passionate about sharing our love of wine through fun guided wine tastings, perfect for birthdays, parties, or just fun nights in with friends.

We come to your home with a selection of 6 wines to taste, tailored to your likes and interests, (plus cheese, naturally), and our friendly wine expert will guide you and your friends through all of them in a unique private wine tasting. We have a range of suggested packages, from Undiscovered Gems to Greatest Hits to Grape Adventures, and will work with you to make sure the wines we bring will get everybody smiling. Whether it's Champagne, Sauternes or Sauvignon, we have a wine tasting for everyone.

how it works
Easy! Simply pick a date for your private wine tasting, choose your wine package and any extras, then fill out our online booking. We'll be in touch soon for a chat so we can tailor the wine choices to you.
What we Bring
6 wines, tasting glasses, tasting notes and pencils. A selection of cheeses to accompany the wine. Our enthusiasm and knowledge.
No sales pitches, no pressure, no stingy tasting portions.

We can also provide charcuterie selections or upgrade to premium wines for a small supplement.

What you need
Some mates (a minimum of 6 guests per wine tasting) and a space for the tasting!

We also ask guests to provide drinking water and water glasses.
